The High Tech High School community gathered for the 2nd Annual Holiday Tree Lighting at the Frank J. Gargiulo Campus, celebrating creativity, unity, and seasonal joy. Each academy, the Media, Visual & Performing Arts Academy, the Culinary & Environmental Science Academy, and the Academy for Design & Fabrication, proudly displayed its own tree, which will be decorated by students throughout the month.
The event opened with Ms. Franco, Supervisor of the Arts Academy, who encouraged continued generosity through the National Honor Society toy drive, the Students in Action/Interact Club food drive, and the school-wide sock drive. The High Tech Choir added festive fun by performing “Last Christmas” and “Underneath the Tree.”
Assistant Principal Mr. Ra then led the official countdown to the lighting of the trees and closed the celebration with a heartfelt reminder to continue to care for one another, especially those who may need extra support during the holiday season.
Happy Holidays from High Tech High School!!
