About the Media & Visual Arts Academy
The Media & Visual Arts Academy proudly offers three dynamic Programs of Study: Audio/Visual Production & Broadcasting, Graphic Technology, and Interactive Media. From the moment they step into our halls as Freshmen and Sophomores, students are immersed in their chosen Program of Study for one exciting period each day, laying the groundwork for their creative journey.
As they advance to their Junior and Senior years, students dive deeper into their passion with a rigorous two-year course sequence, dedicating two periods daily to hone their skills. In this vibrant studio environment, they collaborate, innovate, and produce exceptional projects that showcase their growing expertise and artistic flair.
By Senior year, our students are not just prepared but eager to transition from the classroom to the professional world. Equipped with a robust understanding of theoretical and technical concepts, they embark on real-world experiences through internships, part-time jobs, independent projects, and college-level courses. This hands-on approach ensures they are on the right pathway, ready to excel in their post-secondary endeavors and make a significant impact in their chosen fields.
