Her experience as both an educator and instructional leader has shaped her belief that the arts are essential to a well-rounded education and a powerful way for students to understand, interpret, and engage with the world around them.
As Supervisor of the MVPA Academy, Ms. Franco is committed to supporting innovative programs that provide students with meaningful opportunities to create, collaborate, perform, and develop their individual artistic voices. She believes that the discipline, perseverance, critical thinking, and creativity required to produce meaningful artistic work are the same skills that prepare students to navigate new challenges and succeed beyond the classroom.
Outside of her professional role, Ms. Franco enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and their dog, Atticus Finch.
